Pacific Northwest Scottish Highland Games

This is a daily event, running from July 27, 2013 through July 28, 2013. Enumclaw Expo Center Website
Scotland comes to the Pacific Northwest this late July at the 67th annual Pacific Northwest Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering. Celebrate Scottish heritage during an authentic weekend of highland culture and centuries-old traditions at the Enumclaw Expo Center!

Bring your family out to experience competitive pipe bands, drummers, and traditional highland dancing. Take a moment out of the busy celebration to delight in the soothing melodies of our celtic harpists. In addition to the music and dancing, enjoy ‘old country’ field events, which includes the popular Caber Toss and Hammer Throw. Be amazed at the competitor’s incredible strength as they compete for the top prize!

After the athletic competitions, visit the Scottish farm for shaggy highland cattle and enjoy the antics of the Scottish and West Highland terriers. Dog agility demonstrations and herding demonstrations will showcase the skills and training of both dog and owner.

If you hail from Scotland yourself, take a walk down the Avenue of the Clans. Learn about family history and lore, and you might even run into a relative or two! Browse clan tents and meet Scots from all across the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to the music and culture, treat yourself to traditional Scottish foods and imported goods from the British isles. No matter your background, there is plenty of adventure and new cultural experiences to be had at the Northwest Scottish Highland Games. Bring the whole family to the Enumclaw Expo this July 27th and 28th.
