WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says he's looking forward to congratulating the Seattle Storm at the White House.

Obama telephoned his congratulations to the team on Tuesday for winning their second WNBA title. The White House says he also commended the team for its success during the regular season and an undefeated run during the playoffs.

Obama also told team members they're an inspiration to everyone, especially his daughters Sasha and Malia. Both girls play basketball and they shot some hoops with their father last Saturday in Washington.

The Storm beat the Atlanta Dream last week, sweeping the three-game WNBA finals.
