Heather Molzen had her second double-double of the season with 13 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. Rosie Tarnowski and April Cook each had 10 points for the Cougars. Kansas State led by as many as 12 in the first half at 29-17, but Washington State wouldn't back down as the Cougars closed the half on a 13-4 run. Leading only 53-51, Kansas State used an 8-0 run to put the game away. Washington State kicks off its Pac-10 season next Saturday against Washington in Seattle. |
