Seahawks add veteran CB Fisher
RENTON, Wash. (AP) - The Seattle Seahawks have signed veteran cornerback Travis Fisher.
The team announced the addition of the former second-round draft choice in 2002 of the St. Louis Rams on Sunday afternoon.
Fisher played the last two seasons with the Detroit Lions. He arrives to help fill a void early in camp. Starting cornerback Marcus Trufant remains out indefinitely with what Seattle coach Jim Mora has called a minor back injury.
Fisher has started 74 of 86 career games. He has 329 tackles, nine interceptions, two touchdowns and 39 passes defensed.
