Hasselbeck probable for Sunday's game agaisnt Houston

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck (8) passes under pressure by San Francisco 49ers' Takeo Spikes in the fourth quarter during an NFL football game, Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, in Seattle.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) - Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is sitting out most of practice with a sore throwing shoulder but is probable to start for the Seahawks on Sunday at Houston.

Coach Jim Mora said Wednesday his battered, three-time Pro Bowl passer is sore from "wear and tear" and that there's nothing structurally wrong with his right shoulder.

The 34-year-old Hasselbeck was hit by San Francisco's Dashon Goldson at the end of a third-down scramble in the third quarter Sunday.

Hasselbeck was on his back for a tense moment with a doctor and trainer over him. He finished Seattle's win and was 13 for 14 passing after the injury.
