SEATTLE -- Keith Price doesn't have to go far to make his NFL dream come true.
That's because the former University of Washington quarterback signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.
"Thank you @Seahawks for this awesome opportunity," Price tweeted on Saturday. "Back to Seattle I go."
Price spent three years in Seattle as the starting quarterback for the Huskies. He completed 233 passes for 2,966 yards and 21 touchdowns last season, finishing his career with 8,921 yards and a record 75 touchdowns.
Also known for his speed, Price ran for 292 yards and 5 touchdowns last season for Washington.
Price joins Russell Wilson, Tarvaris Jackson, Terrelle Pryor and B.J. Daniels as quarterbacks on the Seahawks roster.
"We got a good look at him, being a local kid," said Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll. "We feel very comfortable with him. We know he has a big upside, and he seemed to fit in with our coaches. We think we can give him a real good shot at it."
Price will take part in Seattle's three-day rookie mini-camp next Friday-Sunday.
