PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his wife are welcoming their new son.

He adds, "We want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers, it really means a lot to us. God is so good!"

I guess she doesn't care that her hubby rapes people. Â More proof that women stay with abusive men for all kinds of reasons, first one being money and security. Â
Bitterness is an ugly color on you but hey be proud you are a cowardly internet assassin.... this story is about the birth of their child nothing else so kindly take your negative self with clearly a pathetic and get lost oh and BTW Happy Holidays
Dacush, Ben bought his way out of a rape charge with a big time lawyer. You and me would be in jail right now if we had commited that hedious crime
@gregcthekid I've always wondered if the girl did it for money or if he really did buy his way out of it. I suspect the latter, because that was not the first time he was accused of being inappropriate with the lady folks. That being said, I echo other peoples sentiment and wonder why this is a newsworthy article for Seattle? I'm sure players have babies all the time.
@Seadude333  @gregcthekid An NFL player having a baby? Now, that would be headline news! :^D Â
Â
Wow, the stupidity of the hater comments just blows me away. Ben's turned his life around, get over it. BTW, the SeaChicken's have been home for a couple of wife beaters, but hey I guess that's ok because they were on your team. FYI, that super bowl was 7 years ago! I know it's hard to get over it when your team never gets there but maybe if you spent more time supporting your team instead of bashing others out of jealousy you might get their again. Keep up the the bashing and the negative sports karma will be heading way. For more important matters, congrats Ben and Ashley.
@Dacush Dacush you are a loooohoooser just like Ben,Â
@Dacush Whatever happened to real football fans? Where did all these petulant children come from who squeal, "You hate me!" run to their room and slam the door every single time somebody says anything negative about their favorite team or player?
Â
And "you might get their again" - get whose what again??Â
@Dacush I always love it when someone says something like "the stupidity of hater comments blows me away" and THEN continues posting a stupid hate filled comment. The hypocrisy is astounding. Be careful what you say, that "negative sports karma" will be heading your way too. LOL
@Dacush They have as much right to dislike him, as you do to love all mankind. P.S. The superbowl could have been 90 years ago. It doesn't matter. He still was down and then placed the ball in the end zone. time does not change that. Nothing does.
Congratulations to Big Ben and his family. And for all you Steeler haters, get over it. This is not about football, this about the celebration of life.Â
Komo could you please stick to sports.
Who cares about this loser, Note to KOMO.. People in Seattle HATE the Steelers and especially Rapestburger.Â
Wow, takes a special kind of idiot to not only stay with someone who was accused of rape 3 times, but to continue to be a semen receptacle for him.
Â
Poor little baby.
Rooflusblupler's wife has a kid. How is this even news, let alone sports? He's not even in the Steeler's lineup.
@wysoumible And still some token ahole will be wearing his jersey to the next Hawks game even though the Steelers aren't playing here.
congrats rapist
Â
hope your son never gets raped like you did to that girl in the bar
@sunnysandiego Even though we haven't charged you with being an Idiot, your still an Idiot. Hope your child doesn't become idiotic from your genes. Â
@Dacush  @sunnysandiego Did you seriously just capitalize the word idiot in the middle of a sentence?? Twice??
Oh, dear Lord, the irony!Â
@Dacush  @sunnysandiego Only a moron like you would defend a rapist.
Â
I just lost 10 iq points reading your idiotic reply.
Â
I should charge you for that!!
@Dacush  @sunnysandiego Granted the rape of a child warrants your response, but the rape charge was fact. His money bought him his freedom. Just ask Kobe Bryant how that works!
What the hell? Why is this number 1 on komo sports? Is someone on the staff a steelers fan or something?
@broyld No, it was just the fastest thing they could copy and paste with zero effort.Â
