UCLA beats Washington 59-57 on buzzer beater

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Larry Drew II hit the game-winning jumper at the buzzer, lifting UCLA to a 59-57 victory over Washington on Thursday night and ending a two-game skid.
Shabazz Muhammad had 22 points and eight rebounds. Drew and Travis Wear added nine points each as the Bruins overcame their worst shooting game of the season to win.
UCLA (14-9, 6-4 Pac-12) was coming off a 75-71 home loss to USC a week ago.
Aziz N'Diaye had 11 points and a career-high 18 rebounds to record his 10th double-double of the season for Washington (13-10, 5-5), which has lost six of its last seven games. C.J. Wilcox scored 15 points and Abdul Gaddy added 13.
With the Bruins clinging to a 56-55 lead, Muhammad made one of two free throws. Wilcox's lay-up tied the game at 57-all with 10 seconds left.
Drew's fall-away jumper over Washington defender Shawn Kemp Jr. was his third game-winning basket of the season.

LoRo does less with more every yr. His teams are painful to watch. Tons of athleticism---but zero team play whatsoever.
I agree with most comments below except for Romar to be fired. First, Bill Walton has got to go, that guy is so awful on the air I almost muted the TV. Second, both teams played extremely sloppy and tried to give the game away. Romar still has very good connections in college basketball and will continue to recruit at a very high level. Nobody expected this team to finish well so every bit of learning experience and maturity they can earn through this season will benefit the younger guys (Andrews, Kemp, Jerreau) down the road.
After watching our performance, I am surprosed we only lost by 2..We played so erratically and turned the ball over on so many stupid plays it was ridiculous....
Â
Looking forward to Gaddy graduating...it is really hard to believe he was the #2 rated PG out of high school in the nation when he came to us...only behind John Wall....
Nothing better than seeing a UW team lose!!!!
It's not Romar. Â This is a team without a pulse. Â This game was there for the taking and they botched it, especially Gaddy who is becoming a liability even if he hit the only 3 pointer for the whole game. Â They are going nowhere. Â Bill Walton's commentary for ESPN was disgusting, I hope he gets fired for good.

@pbandjane ALL his teams are w/o a pulse. Only raw talent. Zero coaching. ----Bill Walton is extremely entertaining. You must be one boring biatch.
It's time for romar to get his ass out........
