WSU safety Bucannon suspended for half game

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (AP) - The Pac-12 Conference has suspended Washington State safety Deone Bucannon for a half game for a hit to the head of an Eastern Washington player this past Saturday.
Bucannon, a junior, will miss the first half of the Cougars' game at UNLV on Friday night.
Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced the suspension on Tuesday. He said that the action came after the league's weekly review of all "targeting and unnecessary roughness hits."
Bucannon's hit came late in the fourth quarter of Washington State's 24-10 victory over Eastern Washington. After an incomplete pass, Bucannon hit receiver Greg Herd, who left the game with a concussion.

That's gonna leave a mark.

Why bother? I thought the new improved WSU coach was all over that kind of behaviour?
Â
I guess not.
"Washington State's 24-10 victory over Eastern Washington." - Â Not sure, if I was watching the same game, but I thought it was closer than that. Â
 @KRM66 It was 24-20....Â
Which half?

Thank you. I don't believe that was in the first edit.
 @DualLeads No problem.  I had a feeling they didn't have it in the first edit of the story. Â
