SEATTLE (AP) - The Washington football team's leading tackler E.J. Savannah is academically ineligible.

He's not on the Huskies' roster Monday as they begin fall camp in Seattle, although he could be added later.

The linebacker led the team with 111 tackles last season and was Washington's defensive player of the year.

Savannah broke his arm in the offseason in a non-football related incident, but the team expected him to be ready for the start of the season.
