Former UW star sentenced to prison in DUI crash
SEATTLE -- Former University of Washington football star Reggie Rogers has been sentenced to two years in prison for drunken driving charges.

Rogers, who pleaded guilty in May to charges related to a hit-and-run crash, was also sentenced to 240 days of home electronic monitoring after his release.

Rogers admitted he was drunk when he hit another driver on Interstate 5 on the day before Thanksgiving. No one was seriously hurt in the accident.

As a Husky lineman in the late 80s, Rogers became known as a top player and earned a spot in the NFL.

His career came unglued when he killed three teenagers in a drunk driving crash in Michigan 20 years ago. The latest marked Rogers' fifth DUI arrest.
