SEATTLE (AP) - Former Mariners infielder Joey Cora, currently bench coach for the Chicago White Sox, is among seven candidates to be interviewed for Seattle's manager job. Jim Riggleman, who finished last season as the Mariners' manager, is not.

Seattle general manager Jack Zduriencik also said Monday he hasn't talked to former Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost in two weeks. He doesn't intend to contact former New York Mets manager Willie Randolph, either.

Zduriencik said soon after interviewing Boston bench coach Brad Mills on Monday he doesn't expect to add any more candidates to his list.

Zduriencik will interview Cora and Arizona third base coach Chip Hale on Tuesday. Also on the list are Boston third base coach DeMarlo Hale, St. Louis third base coach Jose Oquendo, Triple-A manager Randy Ready and Oakland bench coach Don Wakamtsu.
