I’ve been seeing people blow their yard waste into the roads. Is that legal?

I know it’s the easy way out, but it’s not the legal way out. It is illegal to blow leaves, branches, lawn clippings, anything like that into the roads. The problem is they can clog up the drains and that can lead to flooding. Plus, those leaves get extra slimy and slick when they get wet.

City officials can tag offenders for illegal dumping. They go pretty easy on residents, but if you put a lot on the road or if they get a lot of complaints, expect a ticket.
