Why is traffic on I-5 heavier in Everett?By Rachelle MurciaSounds like you’ve had a rough go at it through the Everett area. That’s a hit and miss area. There are times when it is jam packed and other times when it is free and clear. There’s no real rhyme or reason to it other that it is one of the busier cities in the area. I have found it busiest in between shift changes at Boeing. There are sometimes thousands of people coming and going. That’s why, in the early morning around 5:00, I tend to show the Everett exit at 77th. It is normally jam packed with cars full of people heading to work. Everywhere else, Renton, Bellevue, even Seattle, are not nearly as busy as Everett. I don’t know if I answered your question or if there is a logical answer to your question, but I hope I shed some light on it anyways! Most Popular
