You see these signs a lot during a busy construction season. According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, you should start planning to merge over as soon as you can.
However, don’t cut anyone off in the process. Make sure there is a big enough gap between you and the car you are merging in front of. Just put your blinker on, and courteous drivers should let you in. And, try not to be that driver who purposely waits until the very last minute to merge. That’s not nice driving. |
