What is the best way to get to Qwest Field for an event?

I'm getting a lot of e-mails about the best way to get to Qwest Field. Below are some options to help you have a stress free commute:

Drive -
Go to http://www.qwestfield.com/venue/gettingThere.aspx It's a great link with directions and other information about getting to Qwest Field. Expect to pay $5 - $10 per hour for parking in a lot.

Carpool -
Let someone else drive you!

Transit -
Go to http://transit.metrokc.gov/ and try riding the bus. Metro has a wonderful trip planner where you can put in your start and end points. It will then tell you which bus to take.

Drive/Bus combo -
Park by the Space Needle or the North end of Downtown Seattle and catch the monorail or a bus to Qwest Field.
