Never fear, Jenni Jammers are here to the rescue!

On July 1st, it became illegal to hold up a phone to your ear while driving. This law has caused a lot of Jammers to write in with questions. Check out the law at  this link.

Question:

Dave says:
Good morning Jenni, I was wondering if you've heard anything about these Bluetooth devices not always connecting? Sometimes when I get a call I can't hear the caller.

Answer:
Dave, I'm so glad you're trying to change your cell phone habits. I decided to ask all the wonderful Jammers for help. Check out their responses below, there are some great tips (and some very interesting tips too).

If you have a great Bluetooth or hands free device that works really well, share your secret with us too, e-mail me.

Nancy says:
I have a great alternative product to Bluetooth. It allows a person to drive hands free with no earpieces. You simply slide the clip onto your seat belt and take advantage of your speaker already in your phone. You can see this product at
this link.

Bryan, with GadgetGumshoe, says:
There are alot of Bluetooth headsets that are good but the two best are the Jawbone and the Blueant Z9. I prefer the Blueant Z9 because it's a lot smaller then the Jawbone. Also the Blueant is from Australia and when you turn on Voice Isolation mode it tells you you're changing modes in your ear with an Australian accent.

Zach says:
I have a great idea that works, and my mom even uses it! I put my phone on speaker, and put it in between the visor board and the ceiling, that way it doesn’t move and you can keep your eyes right on the road. Thanks for all your traffic updates!

Steve says:
Below is a picture of my hands free device, cheap and easy, you just need a voice activated phone...
