If you've never hopped on a bus before you may have some questions about how being a passenger works. You're not alone. Community Transit wants to help. It is offering a "How-To-Ride" DVD that is a free instructional video to teach you the riding from start to finish.

"How to Ride: An Introduction to Community Transit" - is an informative and easy to understand introduction to Community Transit services in English, Spanish, Russian and Korean.

The DVD is available on Community Transit's website, www.communitytransit.org. It can also be checked out at all Sno-Isle libraries. Free copies of the DVD are available in the Large Print sections of each library. You can also call the Community Transit customer information line, to order a free DVD. That number is (425) 353-RIDE.  

The 11-minute DVD provides information on how to ride a bus, pay a fare, read the Bus Plus schedule book, how to transfer, accessibility, how to contact customer information, safety and security, and Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART) paratransit service.

Community Transit also offers its "How To Ride" informational content in text form on its website in English, Spanish, Korean and Russian.

Why: To educate people how to ride the bus and other services Community Transit has to offer

Directions:

From Everett, take WA-527/Bothell-Everett Highway to 132nd Street SE and turn left. Continue straight; road turns into 134th Place SE, then Cathcart Way. Turn right at 75th Avenue SE and continue on Puget Park Dr.

From I-5, take the 128th Street exit and drive east approximately four miles (128th Street becomes 132nd then 134th then Cathcart Way as you drive east.) Turn right onto Snohomish-Cascade Drive. Turn right at 75th Avenue SE and continue on Puget Park Dr.
