You'll find me dishing up KOMO 4 News from 4:30 to 7:00 weekday mornings. I'm thrilled to travel Seattle and Washington to kick-start your day with live details about your world!

I think the best stories are in the hearts and minds of people we already know. They're just waiting to be unlocked with the right questions. My favorite part of this this job is interviewing. It usually doesn't take long for others to forget about the lens and open up with intimate details. I'm never surprised by the depth of love and knowledge I often see in others.

I'm the youngest of five children and was raised in same wooded house atop green rolling hills to the age of 19 near Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

I served two sunny years in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints California Carlsbad Mission.

I enjoyed earning broadcast journalism degrees from Ricks College in Idaho and Brigham Young University in Utah.

My career has taken me to Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Washington.

I have earned numerous journalism awards including honors from the Society of Professional Journalists and Associated Press.
