First of all, a big congrats to Paul Deanno and his family, who are now +1 after his wife delivered a healthy baby boy!
Cale John Deanno was born at 5:15 p.m. on August 25th, weighing in at 7 lbs, 5 oz. and 20" long. Paul says everyone is doing well!
But don't just take my word for it. Here is some video of the newest member to the KOMO Weather family.
Incidentally, Cale now evens the score for children at 4 boys and 4 girls in the KOMO Weather Center. Both Steve Pool and I are members of the two daughter club while Shannon O'Donnell and Paul Deanno have two sons each.
But it won't be even for long. Shannon's third child is due in November and will break the tie. She's not peeking, so we won't know which way the power scale will tip until he or she arrives :) (girl, girl, girl... :) )
And oh, how Paul will have a weather story to tell Cale as he gets older. Take a look at this time lapse video from Dr. Dale Ireland in Silverdale. It begins on Wednesday evening showing a smoky sunset from the fires burning in the Olympic Mountains. It then transitions into Thursday morning where you can see the marine push roll in, followed by the showers from a building convergence zone.
