78% of Northwest in snow cover; how much fell Monday?

It was a snowy day across much of the western third of the United States. In fact, by Tuesday morning, 78% of the Pacific Northwest was covered in snow - helping make the national snow coverage at 34% -- way more than the 11% of the U.S. that was covered in snow this time last year.
