Visual evidence of why Seattleites put up with the rain

People who have never been to Seattle might thing we're just one big city enveloped in clouds, but here is some proof to help dispel the myth.

Edward Aites (YouTube user 88edwardo) has compiled an amazing collection of time lapse videos around the Seattle area that really capture the beauty of the Puget Sound region. (Check out his website for even more)

The second one is of particular interest, because it does a great job showing off the lenticular clouds over Mt. Rainier, including (at the end of the video) what appears to be footage of the Dec. 5, 2008 lenticular event that went viral online.

Makes the cloudy and overcast days a little easier when you know what the prize is when it clears up around here!
