Seattle misses out on sunshine party

It's a sunshine party, but Seattle was not invited.

The marine layer finally burned off today, allowing for most of the region to bask in some well-deserved sunshine.  Except for King and Snohomish County, where weak convergence has kept the marine layer still together and left us as the last bastion of gray. Chalk it up to bad Friday the 13th luck I guess.

To wit: at 3 p.m.., it was 60 at Sea-Tac where the sun was ekeing out, but 56 here at the Seattle Center. Meanwhile, it was 66 in Tacoma and 74 in Vancouver. What might have been...
