Summer weather, there is no 'sub'stitute
Silverdale's Dr. Dale Ireland captured another great time lapse of clouds forming and burning away over the western edge of Kitsap County.

Of note to watch for in this loop is the low clouds forming and burning away, the wind patterns on the water and the tide going in and out, and finally the cumulus clouds billowing over the mountains during the afternoon.

But that's the weather excuse for showing this. What I find fascinating is watching the marine traffic. If you look closely, you can see a submarine being escorted out and around the little peninsula there at Coyle near the start of the video then you can see it being escorted back toward Bangor afterwards.
