First of all, those who read my weekly time lapse column last week saw the story of Comet, Dr. Dale Ireland's beagle that sabotaged one of his time lapse videos last week.

Dale told me that Comet says he's sorry and is now much more in tune with the computer:

Now that the computers are working uninterrupted, here are your week's worth of time lapses, courtesy of Dale and the UW Atmospheric Sciences Department:

Jan. 23: Not too much here, just some clearing skies, although the UW has some beautiful high clouds moving in late.

Jan. 24: This is a spectacular one -- particularly for Silverdale. Watch the weather "put on the brakes" as the wind in the morning grinds to a halt, then swirls around a bit.

Jan. 25: Just a cloudy, overcast day.

Jan. 26: A clear, sunny day. For Silverdale, it's fun to watch the marine traffic motor around. Then high clouds move in late.

Jan. 27: Ichiro's there to measure any snowfall, but Silverdale gets just a dusting before it quickly melts in the late morning.

Jan. 28: Watch for some gravity-type waves at the end.
