KOMO 4's Denise Whitaker spent Wednesday up on the slopes of Crystal Mountain, where they had a special opening with limited operations.
She brought along her iPhone just to help skiers get a taste of the season to come:
The ski resort had a base of 24" at the bottom, but 33" at the summit.
We expect those total to zoom up on Friday into Saturday with another chilly storm heading our way. The snow takes a break on Sunday and Monday as we get warmer and it'll probably be an icky rain up on the slopes, but long range forecasts are quite promising for the rest of the week which once again features a wet and cool pattern with plenty of snow returning to the resorts.
