The active weather pattern is going back into hibernation, but that doesn't mean there's no reason to pay attention to the skies.
While clouds have meant we've generally missed out Comet Pan-STARRS (the best pic so far is this hazy shot from Lake Roosevelt at 140 magnified power, by Rocky Rabell) we've had a few dazzling displays of our own -- especially on Thursday.
First up is this dramatic double rainbow, taken from Everett by Rob Cizek:
And Greg Johnson over at SkunkBayWeather.com captured the gorgeous sunset a short time later from his camera in Hansville:
