Monroe -- 13004 Woods Lake Road
By Scott Sistek
From late November through early January, rain or shine, their holiday light show brightens the night skies. The inflatable displays feature Santa landing via motorbike on his lighted runway, Snoopy flies atop his red doghouse, Pooh in his honey pot, Snowmen carol, while a merry bunch ride the carousel.
Last year there were approximately 45,000 lights and this year they have out done themselves. Stroll down candy cane lane, watch the May Pole lights twirl 'round, see the lighted reindeer parade in sequence surrounding the 12 ½’' lighted Christmas tree and come upon the bulldozer with tracks rotating with lights and Santa driving. The lights are synchronized to the holiday music and the fun begins at 4:30pm. The elves are whooped by 9pm but Christmas week the elves will have built up enough endurance to last until 10:30pm. They hope you will drop by to enjoy the display and bring a nonperishable food item for the food bank. |
