Two Days Two Fires, Lynnwoods Hot Streak

Roughly 8 PM this evening sitting out on my lawn with my family after a summer bar-b-q, a pillar of smoke rose on the horizon somewhere behind us. It quickly grew in size and after the Lynnwood apartment fire just the day before we took no chances and dialed 911. I took my camera and headed into Perrinville to find a fiery silhouette of a house just next to the post office. Fire fighters arrived quickly on the scene but not before flames began crawling up the surrounding trees. Burnt leaves were falling for hundreds of feet around a swirling pillar of smoke, coupled with the occasional loud crack of burning wood. A large crowd had gathered, some venturing closer than caution would dictate, but they were quickly hurried away as Lynnwood Police arrived to block traffic and dissuade any potential thrill seekers. After a few minutes on the scene, about a hundred feet away in the post office parking lot, a woman came staggering across the street with her camera phone in hand and a horrified look on her face. Some of us tried to calm her down and get some information, however it took a few minutes until she managed to tell us that she new who lived in the house. There was no way to verify this as we were unable to see which house exactly was burning, however Perrinville is a relatively small portion of Lynnwood so the possibility remains. It is not currently known if there was any collateral damage or sustained injuries, however fire fighters and policemen remain on the scene.
