For the last 10 years Jeff "Weirdo" Jacobson has been consistently producing artwork in Seattle. Jeff is known for his large scale spray paint work as well as his oils and acrylics. His work reflects his experience in street culture through the use of spray paint and the combination of symbolic images to create his conversation with the public. Jeff's Subjects generally reflect his coming to terms with age, love, chaos, and order in the world around him. Jeff also takes on the growing interest in the planet and its ever growing need for our attention.

Jeff's latest project is the Metropole building at 2nd and Yesler st. in the Pioneer Square neighborhood, in Seattle,Washington. The exterior of the building has been covered in plywood for 2 years, and is currently under construction, and features a Plywood wall approximately 100ft long wall by 17 ft high. I have the support of the Building owner to cover the blank wall and bring attention to the building, the block and general area. The idea is to create a large noticeable piece of public art, giving the community something to look at and be proud of while the building is in transition. Creating beauty for an otherwise abandoned space and give the physical landscape of Pioneer square much needed positive energy
