At 16:30 hours Nov 6, 2010 the fourth Navy Tug Boat built by J. M. Martinac Shipbuilding Corp. was ushered into the water by a loyal crowd braving the down pouring rain at the launching ceremony of YT-805 “Seminole”. Bound for Navy service in Japan, YT-805 is one of four new Navy Z-Drive Yard Tugs with two Caterpillar 1800 hp engines providing up to 40 tons of pull. The tug is now undergoing its final outfitting at the facilities of J. M. Martinac Shipbuilding Corp. in Tacoma, Washington.
