Time to make hot chocolate

I took these pictures about a couple of hours ago. Since then the snow has tapered off and even though these pictures don't show it it's very interesting to see all the birds flying around in this weather. Aren't they supposed to be flying south for the winter? I wonder what the birds think of this unexpected change.
