This morning around 8am, I snapped these shots from my deck overlooking Renton. It sure didn't last long because a few minutes later, the rain started coming down and the wind started howling!

That is the bottom of the thunderstorms that roled through. There was a squall line that came through this morning and even was strong enough in everett for a sever thunderstorm warning with a wind gust of 58mph. i wish we got more weather like this!

Great photo! Looks a lot like a wall cloud, most commonly seen in mid-west supercells. I saw a lightning strike less than a mile away this morning. The thunder shook the house. I agree with you - that kind of weather is exciting!
