I am against using taxpayer money to help people that chose to build on unstable ground.

On the map North Cove looks like a sandbar or swamp. Current Federal law says if you build in a high risk area you assume the risk. You don't get a taxpayer bailout if you lose money gambling. Maybe you can sue the person that sold you the land.

The state of Washington can spend 5 mill. on a fence to keep people from jumping of a bridge, but won't spend 5 cents to help folks from losing there homes and land.
