I had filled the bird feeder after I heard on the news we were expecting snow. I live in Port Angeles,Washington. Well Febrary 23,2011 started out with wet snow however by 2 pm in the afternnoon the birds could barely find the bird seed in their feeder and the bird bath had about five inches of snow around it.The birds did find their food and some even tried to use the bird bath. What a wild winter day for all, including the birds.
