I started at a Transit in 2005 and My first Roadeo in 2007 Peninsula Cup 4th and Rookie of the Year,Placed 4th at State and 2nd at international Transit Roadeo. 2008 Placed 4th Peninsula cup. 3rd at state and 4th at internationals . 2010 1st overall at Olympic Peninsula cup, State Transit Roadeo 1st place visitor division on to State.. A day I will Remember Sept 19 2010 the day I won the 30' transit bus roadeo with a score of 671 out of 700. Now off to Internationals in Memphis,Tennessee in May 2011. Since we are a small community this is a big deal to have International recognition with all the hard times here. With help I can chase my dreams.
With the problems with funding our transit agency is not able to afford to send me. we are a small transit and have been competing with the transit agency with 1500 to 3000 people and we have 34 in our transit agency" David and Goliath" for Jefferson County one of the largest areas to cover we have had to make do. I have had to myself use vacation and and income for the last 3 local, State and visiting Roadeo's but Memphis Tennessee will be a burdon for me to try to flip for the whole trip. My union said they can help but won't pay for it all , if the State of Washington or just the officials could see it in there hearts to help me represent Washington State.
Thank you for your time
