Jillian Roels~ Miss Redmond Teen USA

Jillian Roels, a junior at Redmond High School opened a national chapter of Girl Talk, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring junior high girls through positive weekly meetings. Girl Talk is a national chapter, serving over 300,000 girls in over 41 states. Jillian's chapter meets weekly at the Redmond Re/Max Preference office.
Jillian, Miss Redmond Teen USA, is also vying for the title of Miss Washington Teen USA in October. Last year, she achieved top ten status for the title.
Additionally, Jillian is a varsity cheerleader at Redmond High School and a competitive cheerleader.
Giving back to the community has been a lifelong passion of Jills. She also owns her own nonprofit, "Spark Your Heart", dedicated to inpiring random acts of kindness. Through Spark Your Heart, Jillian and her volunteers write positive notes to service men and women, send gifts, and send holiday cards to active living communities, where perhaps the elderly wouldn't otherwise receive a kind note or card.
I would like to nominate Jillian for the Brotherton Community Champion award - she is a wonderful, giving, 17 year old making a difference in her community and setting a positive example for young girls!
