Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Road Open House
The Western Federal Lands Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration, in cooperation with the US Forest Service and King County, will be holding an open house on June 8th to seek comments and input for the development of the reconstruction of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Road, Forest Road 56, in King County and the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. A conceptual design has been completed for the preliminary preferred alternative, which would reconstruct the variable 12-28 foot wide existing road and its associated features along its current alignment to a paved width of approximately 20 feet.
The open house will be held Wednesday, June 8th, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, at the Snoqualmie Ranger Station in North Bend at 902 Southeast North Bend Way. Project staff will be on hand to receive comments and discuss the conceptual design of the preliminary preferred alternative.
Please visit the project website for additional information at: www.wfl.fhwa.dot.gov/projects/mfsnoqualmie/. If you have questions or comments regarding this project and are unable to attend the meeting, please submit them via email at MFSnoqualmie@dot.gov.
