We had left Bremerton at 1:50 and at around 2:20 (ish) the Ferry sounded its horn with one long blast. I assumed a private boat was too close until my daughter let out a gasp and said, 'Dad, LOOK!'
There was a huge column of smoke rising from the house fire and you could smell the plastics, etc burning.
It was an impressive, depressing sight. Glad to know everyone is OK!
