Having an Adopt-A-Highway section to clean is a big responsibility. It had been awhile, so there was plenty work to be done. Due to staffing issues at work, I had to shoe-horn my volunteer days in on a short notice, so I was unable to have enough time to plan a large group to help with the clean-up. But the work needed to be done, so I went at it solo. Overall, I collected 8 bags of trash as well as a few larger items. The highway isn’t perfectly clean, but it’s much improved.
