I nominate Monika Joy Kinsman to become the next Brotherton Community Champion. Throughout high school, Monika held down 3 jobs and sometimes more just to make it on her own. She has always been a leader and one of the kindest people I know. She is motivated by the love that shines in her heart for human compassion. There is no challenge too big for this girl and she is recognized in the Seattle community for volunteering her time to help others change their lives through an ontological education center. She has two masters degrees and is founder/ceo and manager at Thrive in Seattle.
Her passion is helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle through raw foods and a holistic way of being. She started a non-profit organization called the Raw Network of Washington which is committed to educating people about raw foods. She also started a wellness retreat center that is now going out of business because of funds. Monika’s kindness and love touches everyone she comes into contact with, her passion towards helping others is undeniable and she will put aside whatever she is dealing with to help someone that needs her. She has volunteered at the crisis clinic and also worked for the seattle police department as the Victim Support Team Volunteer Supervisor. She is dedicated to helping others live to their full potential and leading an extraordinary life.
Monika is a one of a kind, very unique person that holds the true value of love, peace, joy, compassion and kindness in her heart. She has made a profound difference in the Seattle community as well as the lives of everyone within her path. Thank you Monika for all that you have done and the support that you have given throughout the years.
