Did you know that children with hearing loss can learn to listen, talk, and even sing? It's hard to believe these bright, happy voices from Listen and Talk's Snowflake Singers belong to children with moderate to profound hearing loss....but its true. These young children have been fit with advanced hearing technology (digital hearing aids and cochlear implants) and are receiving services from Listen and Talk, a Seattle-based early intervention and preschool program that helps children with hearing loss learn and communicate through listening and spoken language. Listen and Talk's graduates are prepared to enter kindergarten alongside hearing peers in their neighborhood communities. Here, our choir of 4 and 5 year olds make their debut at a Seattle retirement community, bringing holiday cheer to all!
