Walking through Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, WA this morning (Dec. 24th), I saw a 20' tall tree, decorated with lights, ornaments, garlands, a small star on top, and even presents underneath! This is in the middle of a large 342 acre park, far away from any electrical plug outlets. Someone took the time to put up these decorations and used battery powered lights to adorn the branches. It was great to see someone putting in the time to decorate this park enjoyed by many families in the Lakewood area!
