Once it started snowing in Gig Harbor, my grandchildren, Kayla and Ali could not wait to get their snow gear on to start playing. They made snowballs, snowmen, and a snow fort. As we (the adults) worried about driving to work, will there be school, do I need chains or will my car make it to my destination, or, do I stay home safe & sound? We could not leave our TV watching KOMO News for fear of missing something that would help us in making these decisions. And, yet all I wanted to do was put on my snow gear and go frolic in the snow with my grandchildren. Decision made! Stayed home safe & sound.
Gig Harbor ~ Abby the yellow lab is the newest member of the family. It was her first time experiencing the snow. There were times she just did not want to come in. Then meeting up with the neighbors grown lab she wanted nothing more than to play.
Gig Harbor ~ This picture was taken by Mark Neeley 2 days before the storm finally hit us. A blanket of sunset and clouds charm us with the delightful colors of winter.
