Iced Over Trees

Ice Storm 2012

Here near, Graham, WA we have had 3 power outages and and inch of ice all over everything. It is very eerie with all the cracking and breaking tree limbs. We have a generator and wood stove so we are warm and comfortable. We got the generator after the last big storm. Well worth the investment. We are helping our neighbors that don't have light and heat. I love the snow but, not this icy stuff.

Wow! What a gorgeous shot. Looks like sentinels guarding forests.

I got the icy blue effect from a LED flashlight. These shots were taken at night. We lost the top of the tree on the right last night. All the snow and ice is now off the trees. We have dozens of downed branches to clean up out of our yard.
