Teen Missing and No Media Attention

Our friend and coworker is missing. On the morning of Thursday, February 9th, 18-year-old Christopher Virdell was going to catch a Pierce Transit bus to get to his job at the South Hill Safeway on 13308 Meridian East. Chris never arrived for his shift. He was last seen between 9 and 10 in the morning in the area of 224th and 42nd in Spanaway.

Chris is not known for disappearing and his family is worried. He is 5’5”, 120 lbs. He often wore a fluorescent orange hunting type hoody and a ball cap.

If you have any information, not matter how insignificant you think it might be, please call the Pierce County Sherriff’s Office at 253-798-4721. His friends, family, and coworkers are very worried about him.

The police need to arrest the guilty party.Chris's family did not have money, drugs were said to be involved .The sheriffs refuse to make an arrest without a body.Killer walks.Chris deserves better and so does the community. What a disgrace.

This story doesn't get media attention simply because the family doesn't want people to know the truth about what really happened to Chris, the abuse at the hands of a meth addict.Forced to sell drugs to keep up all members of the house drug addiction

Any word yet? says ... on Monday, Apr 9 at 12:35 AM

I really hope he comes home. I have been thinking about him and his family. I shop at that safeway weekly and have seen him several times. Everyone is worried for him. God speed him home...

Christopher Virdell's disappearance is starting to get social media attention on facebook. Many members (from all over the country) are voicing their concerns, however, it's the people up in Washington State that are most important to listen to.
