lighting strike on whidbey during snow storm 3/5/12


last night at 8:15 pm during the snow falling here on Whidbey Island a huge Lighting stirk hit which did damage to the trees bent a iron stake fried my neighbors electric in his home shook the house like a plane crashed this is took place on jones road about 5 miles from highway 20

Thundersnow, witnessed myself in 2002... very cool. Saw last nights lightning on the tracker.

Yikes! I don't think I've ever heard of lightening during a snow storm. We didn't hear any on the south end last night. Guess you'll have to take down that tree before the next wind storm brings it down. That's too bad. Glad no one was hurt.
