After another very heavy, wet and clinging snowfall in the Olympic Forest near Lake Cushman, the sun began to thaw the slurpy-like clods collected on boughs of very tall Doug Firs. The releases of large clods was akin to aerial avalanches in some cases. This video shows some of the continuous action, and also some damage from fallen limbs from earlier parts of the storm.
