I didn't even know what a convergence zone was until I moved into one. All that means is we are generally colder/wetter/snowier/weirder than anyone who lives in a normal neighborhood. I'm not liking it too much, but what can one do?

Didn't see any lit up sky, but heard a couple of big booms about 8:30 last night in North Seattle. Shortly after, it was snowing. Wondering what the sound was, as it doesn't usually snow & thunder at the same time.

There was a single bright flash over Redmond last night, and thunder (sounded more like an explosion) many seconds later. Around 9 PM, 18 MAR 2012. Was there a lightning storm nearby? It lit up the entire sky.
