Been watching these strange corrugated clouds all the way from Chehalis to Shelton, then saw this sky-bow. Looked like a sun-bow, but the sun was setting. So Steve, 'splain please. :)

It is called a sun dog. Sun dog is produced by refraction of sun's light rays through hexagonal ice crystals of cirrus clouds when the sun is at low elevation angle close to the horizon during sunrise or sunset.
